Bar Bites & Appetizers

Our bar bites are hearty appetizers designed to fit a wide variety of tastes. These include:

  • AmSo Pretzel Bites: our pretzels are homemade, salted, soft, and come with a beer cheese sauce for dipping.
  • Sassy Pigs in a Blanket: our take on a classic, these pigs in a blanket are made with chorizo, manchego cheese, red peppers, onion, and served in a soft puff pastry. They also come with piquillo pepper coulis.
  • Spinach and Artichoke Dip: is a favorite appetizer. Our spinach and artichoke dip also has pepper jack and parmesan cheese. Comes with fresh corn chips.
  • Blackened Chicken Quesadilla: this dish is made with blackened chicken, pepper jack cheese, cilantro, red peppers, and grilled corn. It comes with sour screen guacamole and Pico de Gallo as garnishes.
  • BBQ Ribs: always make for a popular BBQ dish. Our half racks are St. Louis-style and served with Category 12 BBQ sauce and a side of Tzatziki Slaw.

Plates to Share at AMSO

For the diner looking for a bit more to eat and to share with friends and family, our share plates are a great choice. These include:

  • Chicken and Waffles: we take this southern classic and dress it up. A combination of herb vanilla waffles and southern fried chicken, this dish is topped with cherries, bourbon mascarpone, and maple syrup.
  • Poke Tuna Tower: is made with Ahi Tuna and topped with a poke sauce, wakame, and guacamole. This tower also mixes in wontons, wasabi caviar, and pickled ginger for a complex and tasty flavor profile.
  • Meat and Cheese Board: some of the best meals are simple ones. The Meat and Cheese Board comes with brie, aged gouda, and stilton with fig-honey cheeses. Meats include prosciutto de parma, mortadella with pistachio, and soppressata. Crackers are included.
  • Mac and Cheese: we make our mac and cheese with three different cheeses (Vermont cheddar, cream cheese, and gruyere) mixed with Orecchiette pasta, and topped with bread crumbs. Optional toppings include braised short ribs, rock shrimp, grilled chicken, lobster, and white truffles.
  • Black Truffle Short Rib Trio: three wine-blasted short ribs are served with black truffle aioli, black pepper pecorino cheese, and lettuce on a sesame challah bun. Served with a side of potato sticks.
  • Chicken Lettuce Wraps: we blend unique flavor combinations with lemon pepper chicken wrapped in bibb lettuce. This chicken wrap is filled with walnuts, basil, red peppers, pomegranate, hummus, blueberries, and grapes.
