Spring’s in full swing, and American Social is right in the middle of it. From can’t-miss celebrations to high-energy weekends, May is stacked with moments worth showing up for. Here’s what’s happening this month.

NBA/NHL Playoffs —

April – June

The stakes are high, the games are on, and playoff season is bringing the energy all month long. Round up your crew, settle in for every big moment, and enjoy it with our Social Huddle beverage offer while you watch. From tip-off to puck drop, American Social is your spot for playoff season.

Formula 1 —

April 30 – May 3

Fast-paced, high-energy, and built for fans who like their race weekends with a social scene to match, Formula 1 brings a different kind of watch-party moment to American Social. Join us at any location for our Sunday Brunch & Watch Party, where big screens, Jack Daniel’s features, and race-day energy set the tone from lights out to the final lap. It’s also the perfect time to try our new brunch menu items while you settle in for the action!

Kentucky Derby —

May 2

A little tradition, a lot of style, and one of the best social scenes of the season. American Social brings Kentucky Derby watch-party energy to with cocktail features including the Honey Blossom Julep and Churchill Tropic, plus a Maker’s Mark activation from 4 PM to 6 PM at #amsoboca, #amsotampa, and #amsoorlando. Guests can also enjoy Best Hat and Best Suit contests with a winner at each location! 

Cinco de Mayo —

May 5

Big energy, bold pours, and the kind of atmosphere that turns one round into an all-day plan. Celebrate with El Tesoro in the AF Margarita, our Chai Noon with El Tesoro Reposado, and shots of El Tesoro Plata or Reposado. The day also features Scratch and Win with giveaways including margaritas, shots, premium hats, and sunglasses, plus Lotería at #amsoorlando and #amsoboca.

Mother’s Day —

May 9

Make plans for the moms, mother figures, dog moms, and brunch lovers. Mother’s Day at American Social is all about great food and great company. Join us for Prosecco and Petals with a $10 La Marca feature and a flower for every mom.

SOF Week (Tampa) —

May 18-21

During SOF Week, known as “the global stage for special operations forces,” Tampa becomes the center of an influential week of industry presence, innovation, and conversation. The 2026 event takes place in Tampa, making it one of the major moments shaping the city that week. It’s one more reason to keep American Social on the radar while the market is buzzing!
